Hello from Brazil!
I just saw an amazing sunrise here in Rio De Janeiro. Everything was perfect. The amazing beach, views of mountains, and temperature. Me and Missy arrrived here last Monday not knowing what to expect. We are staying here at the JW Marriott on Copacabana beach. The most rediculous beach I have ever seen in my life. We had a lot of rain at first, but the last days we are here are supposed to be beautiful. I am actually looking at the beach as I type about 80 yards away. We had a tour guide name Marcos take us around yeaterday. Went on top of Sugarloaf on two cable cars. The most beautiful view I can say that I have ever seen in my life. Then up to Christ Redeemer.
A couple things that interested me here and I do not want to forget are below:
- The Brazilian people here speak Portugese.
- When everyone says that Rio De Janeiro is so dangerous, don't believe them.
- They make things easier here. For example, there are handles to open the trash cans so you do not have to push it open with your hand. The knobs on the sink have holes in the knobs so you do not have to get germs on your hands when you turn the water on and off. More things, I can't think right now.
- The brazilian steakhouses meat is so flavorful. Except when I tried a chicken heart and almost gagged.
- When shopping in the mall, every store we went in there were more employees than shoppers! And they are very aggressive, in your face because they are on commission.
- They serve these things called cheese balls। Awesome!
- Another huge plus for us was the music. Anywhere you went (the mall stores, taxis, restaurants) it was either P.Diddy, Jay-Z, Beyonce, you name it. They play American music eventhough they cannot understand it! Even in the clubs!
- Beaches are jam packed, they definately are not lying about the skimpy clothes!
All in All, probably the most beautiful place that I have ever been and DEFINATELY a place I will go back to!

Brad is right! This place is amazing and beautiful. It is very difficult to talk to people. Nobody really knows English in Rio. Thanks for everything! I had a great time, even though it rained so much. To the girls: the jewelry here is sooooo pretty! My favorite part of the trip had to be seeing Brad on the beach in that bikini!!!! :)
